ผ้าใบ (Phā Bai)
“ผ้าใบ (Phā Bai)” is a sub series within the Skin project, focusing on one of Thailand’s most familiar street materials, the blue and white plastic tarpaulin found across markets, houses and construction sites. Ordinary yet emblematic, these striped sheets reflect the country’s sense of improvisation and resilience. Sun bleached, torn and tied together, they create a patchwork skin over the landscape, turning function into an unintended form of beauty.
